The programme was attended by very important persons from KBMK itself, Education Malaysia, JPA, officers from Wilayah Persekutuan, Selangor, and Pahang, and DPMM. It started with brief introduction speeches and presentations by every representative.
MESRA ‘10 was separated into two sessions by Juma’ah prayers. In the morning session, it was lightened up with prayer recitation followed by our national anthem. Later on, TYT Prof Madya Dr Mohd Fakhrudin Bin Abdul Mukti gave a 30-minutes informative talk. One of the highlights is about the education system in Malaysia and Egypt. He also launched the new PCM hall officially for any social events to take place. Then, High-achievers Awards were given out to total of 95 students that earned Very good grades, 8 students with Excellent grades and a special Duta award to sister Nahdia Afifah for her Excellent grades since the first year up till the fourth.
Just before the delightful lunch, an impressively done video about the new era of PCM 2010/11 by UPP was played on screens which left the audiences in awe. The launching of the ‘Professional Day’ proceeded after. Briefly, Professional Day is about encouraging students going to classes wearing formal and neat attire every Monday.
After Juma’ah prayers, the evening session started. During this session, counters from each representative are opened for student purposes. The hall was crowded with students queuing for services. Even though the event exceeded the planned tentative, overall it was worthwhile and very productive.
There was also a private meeting during this session between TYT Prof Madya Dr Mohd Fakhrudin Bin Abdul Mukti, and two officers from KBMK with the representatives among the students from PERUBATAN Cawangan Mansurah; Ahmad Azizi bin Md Jusoh, Muhammad Abu Ubaidah bin Mustapa Kamal, Qatrunnada binti Mohamad Farid, Syamilah binti Mohamad, also with the students from Mansoura-Manchester Medical Community (MMMC), GMN Mansoura Medical Students Council (GMMSC), 1Malaysia Club, Akademi Al-Quran (AQ), Dewan Perwakilan Mahasiswa Mansurah (DPMM), MedicMesir, and Kelantan Medical Services (KMS).The meeting was held in Darul Rahmah, and end about 4.pm.
